# Glitchless for the Epic AI MegaJam

> Jamming in Unreal? Glitchless is free until judging ends: 50,000 play sessions a month, room for your team of five and 90 days of data, with code MEGAJAM26 until January 31, 2027.

The Epic AI MegaJam runs November 12–15, 2026. Glitchless isn't affiliated with Epic Games; Unreal Engine is a trademark of Epic Games.

## What you get during the jam

- **See why your build stutters.** Every hitch comes with its cause: shader and pipeline compiles, garbage collection, level streaming.
- **Playtesters press F8.** They send a note and a screenshot. Your agent reads it with the session behind it.
- **Show your work for Glass Box.** Share a read-only board pinned to jam week in your dev log.

## Set it up before the kickoff

1. By November 11, sign up with code MEGAJAM26.
2. Add the Unreal plugin and turn on Send in Development builds (jam submissions are Development builds).
3. When you submit, declare Glitchless as a tool you set up before the jam.

Or paste the [setup prompt](https://github.com/glitchless-gg/glitchless/blob/main/docs/agent-setup-prompt.md) into your coding agent: it adds the plugin and builds a dashboard for your game.

This is for the Unreal Engine track: UEFN projects can't load plugins.

## Your submission's tool declaration

The rules ask you to declare what you made or set up before the jam. Paste this into your submission and edit it to match what you did:

```text
Set up before the jam: Glitchless (glitchless.gg), a third-party observability plugin for Unreal (MIT licence, github.com/glitchless-gg/glitchless). It records frame times, errors, crashes and bug reports from our builds, and its MCP server (glitchless-mcp) lets our coding agent read them. Before November 12 we only installed it, set it up and connected it to our agent; all game code, prompts and assets were made during the jam.
```

## A Glass Box dev log outline

```text
# [Game name]: how we built it with AI
## The team and the tools
Who we are, the agents and MCP servers we used, and what we set up before the jam.
## Day by day
What we built each day, and the prompts and decisions that mattered.
## A problem our playtesters hit
A stutter, a crash, a level people quit on. The data: [share link, pinned to Nov 12-16]
## What the agent found and changed
The finding it read, the change it made, and what we fixed by hand.
## Did the fix work?
Before and after: -glitchless-measure frame times, or the crash-free rate on day 1 against day 4. [share link]
## What we'd do differently
```

Make each share link from a board: Share, then Fixed dates from Nov 12 to Nov 16, and an expiry of Never. Judges see jam week whenever they open it, with no player IDs or stack traces. The [jam guide](https://github.com/glitchless-gg/glitchless/blob/main/docs/jam/megajam-2026.md#a-share-link-for-the-glass-box-dev-log) has the details.

## When it ends

The jam tier ends January 31, 2027, 23:59 UTC. Your workspace goes back to the Free plan's limits (5,000 play sessions a month, one person, 14 days of data) and nothing is deleted.
